Re: Hosting Recommendations
If you will go to the asp.net knowledge center and search for asp.net hosting, they offer hosting companies/sites with which they have partnered and are guaranteed reliable. For the traffic you are driving I would highly recommend using one of their partners.

Re: Help needed - on using Google Checkout payment option
I don't think that many free hosting services are going to be able to accomodate to your needs since you are using Google Checkout you will likely need something which loads quickly and smoothly. If you are still having issues with testing then you should contact Google Support and allow them to assist you.

Re: Help needed - on using Google Checkout payment option
I have been searching on this since I first replied and so far I have not found any FREE hosts that offer services for those using any type of ecommerce. I do not know what you are selling but since you are going to use Google Checkout I would think you need to find paid hosting and there are some who charge $3USD or so and would accommodate to your needs. Anyone who knows of such provider could post here as well to help this person out.

Re: What do you look for?
I found and opened an account with the host some time ago, a reseller plan. Now I am just going about trying to find all information I should know about the reselling and what the hosting options are of various hosts so as to recommend the proper option. My host is in my signature and I think they have most options so I should be okay with offering a nice variation of services.

Re: How to Host asp site for free
Sure thing! I sometimes have a hard time finding the information I'm looking for once given a particular site to view so once I find it, I try to go back to the resource (the forum here in this instance) and make a note of the direct link for future reference and to save others the time of searching. Hope you found what you needed ok :)

Re: How to Host asp site for free
Oh okay I finally found it. For others who may be looking for their free hosting services, here is a direct link. It took me a while to find it because they have paid hosting and it takes you right to that. Thanks again rtccroy. http://www.webhostforasp.net/freeaspwebhosting.aspx

Re: ASP.NET on Linux, is it possible?
Yes, it certainly is possible! I just finished reading an article a few days ago on the Linux website. You might find it helpful as well. It takes you through what to do and uses Mono to do it. Hope this helps! http://www.linux.com/archive/articles/53582

Re: End-of Life for HMC/MPS?
Hi Leon, I was trying to learn about HMC/MPS. Have been reading up on it for several days now just trying to understand what it is all about, should I just stop and move on and learn about the other options out there? Should I continue studying about MPS?

Re: Bad request (header too long)
Goraleye, what is the exact error you receive (it should read something 40?.?). If you are running IIS 7.0 and you are getting error code 404.10, the issue is that there are limits that need to be modified. I'm not the best to describe these but I'll send you to a tutorial on it so hopefully you can resolve this issue. Good Luck, hope this helps. Here is a copy of what the tutorial tells you to do to correct this: [Quote] Quote from Microsoft @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942077/ This

Re: End-of Life for HMC/MPS?
[quote user="leonsay"] HI It depends on what you are learning about it for. If you are looking at deploying HMC then yes you should keep learning about it, as Microoft will e at least 12 months away from having the new wave of products ready. So if you are looking at deploying this type of solution on the current versions this is still the way to go. The other thing is there are a lot of installs out there on MPS at the moment so if you are looking at doing SI or Dev work then learning
