• Why does VS2005 stop debugging on its own?

  I am using Visual Studio 2005, working on a Visual C# Asp.Net AJAX-enabled Web Application. When I am in debug mode and paused at a breakpoint, after a while the program just exits debug mode on its own, exactly as if I had clicked "Stop Debugging". But I didn't click it! This is very annoying, because it means that I have to restart my program and run it back to the same breakpoint all over again to continue what I was doing. Is there any way to turn this behavior off?

  You sure? Before this Debug mode would end if I stayed at a breakpoint for 90 seconds. Now that I set "Ping Enabled" to false, it let me sit at a breakpoint for over half an hour.

  Thanks. I basically did what you said, although it turns out I can just set "Ping Enabled" to false.
