    Hi , That s fine ...But can you please suggest something on this error .. please An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Documents and Settings\Bharath Kumar\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\WebSites\PersonalWebSite4\App_Data\Personal.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. Regards , Arun C

    Hi , But .. can you please explain it a bit further ..Bcoz after deleting the personal.mdf file i receive this error message ..   • Server Error in '/PersonalWebSite3' Application.

    Hi , I am a novice in website development .I downloaded the Personal Website Toolkit to and while running that application , i receive the error as stated below .And also i am employing Sql Server 2008 express that is installed by default while installing Visual Studion 2008 Sp1 express edition .Do we have to install sql server separately to build applications such as websites . The error is as follows ,kindly help me out . Database 'C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\BHARATH KUMAR\MY DOCUMENTS\VISUAL

    Hi Gerry , Thank a lot for you time !! I am already using VWD express 2008 with SP1 .After downlaoding the MVC application from the microsoft website ,i am able to install it .But after the installation is completed ,i am unable to find that MVC template along with the list of templates avaliable under the VWD .And i am aloso possessing .NET Framework 3.5 and i am using XP . But what is this exactly .. Microsoft Web Platform installer ? have we to install this for MVC applications ... Thanks , C

    Hi , Thanks a lot for you time !! Ya its true i even tired uninstalling it ..but the problem it stll does not happen .And i am trying to install only 1.0 .     Hi , This is Arun here and i require a bit of time and favour from you .Recently i tried to extend my knowledge towards MVC applications ,but i am restrained from doing so due to installation problems .I am currently using Visual Studio 2008 with SP1 express edition ,in which the MVC template does not raise in the forepage .Please advice me on how to install MVC application and how to start building the same with my visual studio package ..
