  hi... i think u have better way but no problem i will tell u in any way u want(i hope i can do this). do some thing like this: Declare variable... public string TotalAmount = string.Empty; and then in .aspx file: <input type="checkbox" name="understand" value="<%= TotalAmount %>" checked="checked" /> now again in .cs file: protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { //TotalAmount=get any data u want from db } ........................
