Time Tracker on host problem signing in
I installed Time Tracker locally with VS 2008 and SQL Server 2008 and everything works. I created a user for myself, and then uploaded the database to my host and uploaded the Time Tracker app and made it a subdomain (timetracker.strongchoice.com). When I try to sign in, two things happen. First, I can't sign in using the credentials I created locally and that I can now see in the hosted SQL Server database. Second, when I try to create a new user, I get " The Role Manager feature has not

Re: Creating a C# E-Commerce Website where users can upload and sell graphics and videos
Vinz, thank you very much for these two links, which are very helpful. The plan, as I understand it now, is to build an ecommerce Website where customers can upload images and videos into a MS SQL db, and then in a shopping cart, these images and videos are available for sale and download. Do you know of any sites that do this? And can it be done in C# on a hosted Website?

Re: Creating a C# E-Commerce Website where users can upload and sell graphics and videos
eric, Thank you for this information, which is very helpful. Yes, the idea is to store the binary data in a MS SQL db. I've done this with images, but I don't know if video works in a similar way. Assuming that some coding like yours will get video into the db, will customers to this ecommerce site be able to buy and then download videos? That's the basic premise, I gather. At this point, I'm just doing background research to see if the ecommerce idea will work.

Creating a C# E-Commerce Website where users can upload and sell graphics and videos
Are there any tutorials about creating a site like this? Specifically, are there any tutorials or code samples for uploading video to a Website? I've used a starter kit to build a similar app where users can upload graphics to a database, but I don't know about doing the same thing with video files. I'm sure it can be done, and I would appreciate any suggestions about where to look.
