  I thought: I have same problem, and noticed both Firefox and Chrome took about 1 second to load a page that took around 10 seconds when loaded with IE 8... I am wondering why, as far as clientside page works the same in all three browsers, and IE rendering is not better than others... But true is another stuff: IE, Chrome and Firefox are fast quite equal. Difference was due to using IE launching debug in Visual studio, or using it by copying the address of the web server (even the personal one).

  LOL...That's true...I too work both in Vb and C# and had same matters: Vb is more friendly, while C# is supposed to be more thaught, but really it seems it is only a bit harder as it is...less friendly (!!) starting from Ide... The sad part: things are no better in Vs 2008. ;-)
