• How to export single Report data into multiple files of single format?

  Hello All, My report size is very high. So it is giving problem while exporting in any format. But I want all Report data should be exported. So is it possible to export this large sized data into multiple files of same format? Say, if my report contain 3000 events, then rather than exporting it in single file (say pdf format file), can I export it into 6 files (pdf files) where each file will contain 500 events data. Please help if anybody has any idea about it. Thank you in advance.

  Thank you SMAS-SMAS for your time. The overall scenario is like- My application fires a query on SQL Server database and result of that query is stored in a Dataset. This dataset is set as a datasource to the Crystal report. Now some, records (returned by the query) have .avi files(i.e. Event Videos which are stored on the local hard disk) associated with them. I have stored these .avi files in a specific path on local Hard disk say "C:/EventVideos/*.avi" . I used a special format in these

  As per my understanding, When you export your report to .XLS, .rtf or .doc format, with data a link also appear in .XLS, .rtf or .doc file and when you click this link, the avi file run, no problem. ==> Right. (Here Link appear means not exact underline below the Object which I used for link but after click on it avi file run) But when you export your report to .pdf, with data a link also appear in .pdf file, but when you bring your cursor on link, cursor not change and also after clicking nothing

• Varying height.

  Hello all, When I export Crystal Report into xls format, xls file contain rows of varying height. How can I make all rows of same height? Any help will be appreciated. Please, its urgent. Thanks.

• "Invalid Pointer" exception while exporting Crystal Report into .pdf format

  Hello All, While exporting Crystal Report into .pdf format, I got an exception - "Invalid Pointer". My crystal report contain near about 3000 events. 2 columns in Crystal Report contain images. So size of Crystal Report is little bit more. Does size of Crystal Report matter while exporting? Can anybody help me to know the reason behind it? Any solution to overcome this exception will be appreciated. Thanks.

• No link after exporting Crystal report as pdf file

  Can anybody tell me - Format of the, link to the file on local machine, which should remain active after exporting it into .pdf format. Suppose my file is "EventVideo_1.avi" at C drive then I used following format- " file:///C:/EventVideo_1.avi " But after exporting it as pdf file, it does not bahave as link and I can not click on it. When I export it as xls it works. How should I export it in pdf format. Appreciate any help. Its very urgent, please. Thanks.

• Delete hyperlink

  Hello all, My crystal report contain hyperlinks to the Event Video file (i.e..avi files). Its format is somewhat like - " EventVideos/EventVideo_ " + {DataTable1.EventId} + ".avi" As I create hyperlink at design time, it remains active for all the events. But the case is that my all events do not have Event Video associated with it. So, such events also have link for event video which is not expected. To avoid this, I have to delete or disable the hyperlink for such events. My

  Thank you jeyaseelan@ajsquare.net , Actualy I saved all my .avi files into EventVideos Folder in the base path of my application. I export my report using the export button in toolbar and not by programaticaly. I used formula as - "EventVideos\EventVideo_" + {DataTable1.EventId} + ".avi". Now when i export it as pdf or in any format, and try to open event video from report, it does not play event video. But if I keep EventVideos folder in the folder where I export the report as
