• Session Management using SQl Server

  Hi, I like to manage the session state in Sql Server, I know how I could start using it but I'm not clear about if I would need 'validation key' or 'decryptionkey' using .net 2.0 Thanks for your response.

• Problems while converting from .net 1.1 to .net 2.0

  Hi, I'm trying to migrate some old applications from .net 1.1 to .net 2.0. While converting some of the applications I did get a prompt to right click on the solution and convert the solution to 'Web Application'. I didn't get this prompt in some of the applications. For these applications where I didn't convert to web application, offcourse I didn't see the partial classes. But still all of the applications are running fine. My question is why would VS2008 prompt to convert

  Thanks for your response. Is 4GB the max thats available in Laptops? I feel 4GB with Vista would be like 1 GB with XP.

• Laptop for VS 2008 and SQL Server

  Hi, Sorry for an irrelevant question, but I though who else can better answer than the current users of Visual Studio 2008 and Sql Server. I am considering to buy a Laptop and Toshiba is my favourite. Do you guys have good/bad experience with Laptop performance running Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server installation (not express edition). Thanks.
