Re: Get a cell value from DetailsView??
But can one not do it in edit mode? My issue is this: The UpdateTable() method requires all of the fields passed in. Most of the fields are not changing and not relevant to this particular screen. There is a DetailsView with all the non-relevant fields set to ReadOnly="true" and Visible="false" I thought the easiest way would be to catch the 'Update event and then get the field values out of the DetailsView and then pass them into the UpdateTable() method. Unfortunately they

Re: Changing the height of the "logo"
Hi Curtis, I am looking at my version of the SBSK and there is no logo there, as far as I can see. Where are you wanting to put it? And how high is the image? Can you post some code or a link or a picture? It's probably a pretty easy question to answer if you give us some clues. Regards,

Re: How to limit Items treeview to one deep?
I think what you are saying is, "I don't want three levels of data." Rather than, "I do want three levels of data, but only want to display the top two." I guess the second option would be silly, as then you coul not display or purchase the bottom level of data, so why have it? If you have a read of /App_Data/Items.xml You will see that there are two levels of Category and one level of Item. The top level of category has a declaration like <parentCategoryId > NULL <

Re: SBSK and SQL database
I might be misunderstanding the question, but why isn't this the answer? <add name="ConnectionString" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename=|DataDirectory|\ASPNETDB.MDF;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"/> Regards,

Re: Three-column-container bg-three-column-home.png stopped repeating
Yep, Harry is right when he says it is likely to be something to do with the height of the divs. #content-side1-three-column { float:left; top: 1px; left: 1px; height: 500px; } There above is one of the declarations for one of those divs, and it limits itself to 500 pixels. Now, in your example, the right hand column runs on down to longer than that. Suggest you play around with the heights of the other column divs. Regards,

Re: Welcome Box control doesn't appear
I think that it is supposed to be that way. There is nothing in default.aspx except for a page declaration.

Re: What are the Pros and Cons of TheBeerHouse Starter Kit?
TBH is a fantastic starter kit. Probably the best one I have run across so far. Took me way up the learning curve. Plus a good scalable, modular architecture, plus a book. What's not to like? Anyone want to compare it with the timetrakker starter kit? Hah!

Re: Publish cause CSS not working
Is the stylesheet where it is suposed to be? There's no reason why the link statment should not find it otherwise, that I can think of.
