This was my problem too. Thank you for your help. I had asked many forums and people but nobody could answer it. Then, I had to find out how to mark a file “compile” or “content”. This is how I did it. In VS 2005, to mark a file in App_Code directory “content” or “compile”, click on the filename then in the properties window (usually located below the solution explorer window), find “Build Action” property which itself is grouped under “Advanced”.
