  Hi Danny, If u dont mind can u please give one sample code to accomplish the above task.. simply i want to call a webmethod from the webpage which is viewable from webbrowser control in the windows application. This webmethod should open a form in a new tab in my windows application. I am actually running the webservice within the windows application in seperate project(class library)

  Hi there, Is it possible to raise an event from webserive. When a request is sent to the webservice an event should be raised from the webserive which opens up a specified form in the windows application. Is this possible? Below is the sample code that i am trying to accomplish the above task. I have the event declared in the first line. Then the webmethod which inturn call function "openform()" within the same class and function "openform()" raises an event "CreateTask(

  Hi there, When i add or update the webreference it gives me the following error. There was an error downloading 'http://localhost:2117/WebService.asmx'. Unable to connect to the remote server No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:2117 There was an error downloading 'http://localhost:2117/WebServiceCode.asmx/$metadata'. Unabl Any suggestions would be helpful.

  just create a virtual directory in IIS for the webservice. Thats it u r done. u can access that webservice locally anywhere.. ex: http://machinename/directoryname/service.asmx

  Hi there, can any one please explain what the below code is? Please help me to test this webservice. This code is one of my windows application project. This webservice starts when the application has started. I really couldnt able to figure it out how to call the webservice methods. My webservice methods are in the webservicecode.vb file I have to do a basic thing. I have the webservice running.
