• problem with importing excel file

  Hi guys, I have developed a program which can import ms excel data to C#.net gridview. Everything is alright there but the excel file has to be open while I extract the datas from that. But I don't want to open the excel file during my operation how can I do this. In addition I don't want to attach that file into my C# files also. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

• site authentication problem

  Hello all, I've developed a site and there I use .net built-in authentication system. Also I have another sql server database. But while I'll go for hosting this site, how can I attach my asp.netdb with my other ms sql server database. Is there any other way to host my site with asp.netdb and ms sql server database? Because the pages will uploaded by FTP and ms sql server database will be uploaded by ms sql server but how the asp.net built authentication (asp.netdb) will be uploaded. If I

  May be I failed to make you understand that what I want actually, well I have a database and there I have a user table. I put a login *link button in my master page, by clicking on this 'login.aspx' will be displayed. There are two textboxes and a login button. But after successfully login the status of that *link button (in master page) doesn't change to 'logout' text in order to logout from my site. So what should I do my password system is working proper. Help me

• authentication help needed

  Hi all, I developped a website and it has a user login process. Here I use MS SQL server 2005 to store my user and role. I add a login in button in my site page. While a user login successfully then he can invoke my site. But the status of login button never goes to 'logout' mode. How can I make the status logout while a user successfully login by using database. I don't want to use the internal asp authentication system. Any code or link or tutorial is appreciable.   Hello All I have three text boxes. While I press the submit button then the textes of those text boxes will be passed in a gridview.(each text box's text will be in different columns). say I type 'You' 'Know' 'me' in three text boxes . Then in grid view, three column will be generated (column can be fixed and predefined). And contain my text in different column. While I give input again then second row would be generated in grid view. I don't want to use database.
