gridview pagination problem in the UpdatePanel

Hi , I was placed gridview inside the updatepanel. And i given the pagination also to the gridview. when i run the page , the pagination is coming properly but if i click on the page no the below error is coming Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 500 Please help me any one
