  Hi No exception is thrown, it just doesn't work. You visit the page, Roles and Users are successfully displayed. Select a user, as soon as the page refreshes/posts back, the users list is cleared and there are no roles (checkboxes) in the repeater. The same happens if you try and tick a role for the first user.   Looks like you copied and pasted it from the website. Make sure you format your code properly i.e. make sure things are not on new lines if they don't have to be. Luke

  OK, I've just tried it and every time I submit the create user part, it skips to the exception with the response.write... If this works for the Tutorial Author, why doesn't it work for me? Is there anything I can do? Thanks Luke
