• comparing two date fields

  hi i am doing a project in .net (asp with c#) I have two date fields in my table.....one is entered by using calender control and other one is system date. my problem is if i want to compare these two fields...............these are in different formats. (for ex: one is 03/15/2009 and other is 2009-15-03) how can I solve it? plz help me.

I wrote it as shown up, but it shows error Incorrect syntax near the keyword

  thank u for ur reply, Raghav. but I want another thing also..... what i need is 1.total of all subject marks for each student 2.display the total marks >75 in distinction column 3.and others in fail column. the student name, number of students who has got distinction and failed will be displayed in separate table. can u help me?

  hi i have student marks table which has student name, group and individual subjects' marks. what i need is add all the individual subjects, and with the student name, the total will be displayed in separate table. I want this by using stored procedure and I have to use this in my c# coding. its urgent...... please help me.
