• connection errors with sql server database

  Hi i am getting errors like this, while connecting with sql server database. ERROR [08001] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]General network error. Check your network documentation. ERROR [01000] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (PreLoginHandshake()). what type of error is this ? could you tell me ?

  Hi This sqlquery is working fine with TextBox. But if we have to select the all fields from dropdownlist then it will not work. For dropdown , what should we have do ?

  In my case, all search field is coming from dropdownlist, If somebody is not selecting some field then there will be "Please select". if that values will come then it will create error. But if all field will come from textbox and somebody is not selecting some field then it will not give errors. Now i have kept validation control for all dropdownlist.

• problem in search conditions

  Hi i have two problems in the searching the records. 1. In my home page there are search options with multiple field. There i have used used "and" oparator while searching the record from database. But it is taking the exact input for displaying the data.If user is selecting only few field then it is giving error. While using "OR" operator it is displaying the whole record from the database.   Thanks for sending the reply. Now i got the concept. But In database i m storing the Expected price as "double" datatype and in dropdown i m displaying as string value like "20 lakh to 50 lakh". how should i check this one?
