  i got it resolved. As NC01 suggested, it was problem with the framework. Server was not supporting 1.1 ASP. So i deployed my app on a diff server with 1.1 It worked fine.

  continue... prob is:- Hi, shud be displayed when value of i is 2. working fine for my local, but at server side, "Hi" is being displayed for diff control not for i=2

  Hi, now the prob is changed to smthn new... now there is no change in the .aspx file, both the files on the server and my local are same. But prob is still the same. its showing me alert messages for the controls for which they are not meant to be. i my using if (document.mypageid.elements[i].value = "") { alert("Hi") }

  Hi, I am using ASP 2.0 and VS 2003. I am using Javascript for displaying a alert box. Everything is working on my personal PC. but now when i am deploying the code on the my server after publishing it, some hidden field is getting created by itself in my form. i don't knw why? due to which i am not able to get the value of my control. that hidden control is nowhere on my personal PC and my application is working fine. On my server side i have ASp 2.0 only. I am facing same prob. with 2 forms

  Hi all, The prob. is :- I have a text box in which user enters a date in " dd/mm/yyyy" format and this date should be the future date. My prob. is this that i am unable to compare the entered date with the current date in this format to display a warning message. Can any1 help me in this?? Thanks in advance...
