I want to include an existing item to my project (VB 2008) The existing item is not at the default folder. After including the file (module, class, etc.) I see that the file is copied to the exisiting folder. I want to keep using the module at the existing folder. Thanks :)

Re: aspnetdb.mdf backup file version
Thanks. I will check that out. For first glance, I still need the aspnetdb.mdf (and only that), because for some ununderstood reason, I should have the aspnetdb.mdf (can you give me a link for aspnetdb.bak, because hosting company have told me I should have version of bak file, or sql, that is sql-2005 version, and not other version, and I am sure there is such a version, because it is standard, and basic database for using dotnet). Thanks :)

Re: aspnetdb.mdf backup file version
Hello, That's what I did. I created a sql file via SQL Server Management Studio Express, but in the code, there are some link to a specific file : ASPNETDB.MDF, which is on my current folder on my disk (I see c:\mysite\....) I don't see any line, such as "create table ...", etc ... So I see this script has some exceptions when running on the server side. Do you know what is aspnetdb.mdf, and is it the right way creating one ? If there was just a prepared script that fits to "SQL

aspnetdb.mdf backup file version
Hello. I am hosting my site at an hosting company, that use SQL-Server 2005, and plesk on it. I want to deploy my program (VS 2008) , and due that I should configure the aspnetdb.mdf. The hosting company said I should create the database from their site, and not just copy it. I can send them a .bak file, and they do all the manipulations. I don't know if it's the correct thing to do, since aspnetdb is not a general database, but used for asp.net platform after deployment (some traces on members

First deployment. ASPNETDB problems
Hello. I have openned this thread, after desperate tries to put on the air the deploymented project. See the thread : http://forums.asp.net/p/1335247/2689515.aspx#2689515 Still, I have a problem. I want to deploy the site, I have written in Visual Studio 2008, and want to put it on an hosting machine. The app_data folder : the ASPNETDB is created automaticaly. I don't know if ASPNETDB is realy necessary, but I still see I cannot access the site. For first time - can't I just deploy my project

Re: problem on deployment : app_data. - newbie question.
I didn't succeed creating the database aspnetdb.mdf, so I have downloaded it from the site :http://www.4shared.com/file/59591680/a5b7abdf/ASPNETDB_TMP.html, and put it on the hosting machine. (It is 10M bytes. too expensive, since I don't much need that file - I just want to do some deployment of CSM : Control System Management) I assume that hosting site supports the sql-express, since the sintax I gave at this thread is auto-generated by the site, and I have two databases on the site. Two
