Re: Web server acting strange - aspx page doesnt work + problems with code
Sorry, I added a blankspace at the end of the link, they do work: http://dev.fln-webb.se/error_page2.jpg http://dev.fln-webb.se/error_page_en.jpg And yes, its in IE 7 it crashes. As I said , the web server works in all other aspects. I've added virtual directories and so on. All my other pages work in all browsers, except this one, which only chrashes in IE. And as for the second problem with the calculation function. Pasting the code here doesn't matter. My question is more - how can I get

Re: Web server acting strange - aspx page doesnt work + problems with code
Ok, I will look into it when I get home. Only one thing, I don't have Windows Server 2003, but as I said in my first post, I have Windows Server 2008. Is it also enabled by default there?

Re: Web server acting strange - aspx page doesnt work + problems with code
I've now tried turning Enhanced Security off in Server Manager, but it still produces the same error. And I have nothing in my body-tag, or onload or anything like that. Really strange.

Re: Can't open aspx-page in IE7
No, its just a "normal" aspx-page. I haven't disabled caching, nor am I sending any documents via response. The only thing I have is four lines of code in codebehind, which gets data from mssql, and binds to a repeater. Nothing strange. Any other suggestions?

Web server acting strange - aspx page doesnt work + problems with code
Hi, It was a little difficult to put a title on this issue, but it is at least the following: I have the other week got my webserver up and running. The OS is Windows Server 2008 Standard with IIS 7. I and another programmer uses the server to upload the demo-sites on. One of my pages simply doesn't not in IE. I get the following error message: http://dev.fln-webb.se/error_page_en.JPG Nothing else. No code-error, no nothing. What could be the reason? On the page I do not have much more 4 lines

Can't open aspx-page in IE7
Hi, I've recently got my Windows 2008 web server up and running (yay!) Just one problem.. which I discovered just now. This page probobly hasn't worked ever since I first created it, but I develop mostly in Firefox, so I haven't seen the error before. It isnt a code-error, or a server crash or anything like that. Internet Explorer just comes with a popup, saying that it can't be open. But, as I said, the exact same page works in Safari, Firefox, Chrome - you name it. But not in IE7

Re: Host a website, problem with Ajax module
Yes, as I said - the same files work when I download them and run them locally. No, I have not bought a license, but I'm using it on a demo site at the time. In my company, which I work normally, we have used Coolite for some time without a license, we just bought one recenlty. Now, I'm stuck with Coolite, and redoing the entire application/web site is not an option.

Host a website, problem with Ajax module
Hi, I've resently got my own website up and running. The OS is Windows Server 2008, and its running on IIS 7. In my application, I'm using an Ajax Module called Coolite: http://www.coolite.com/ Now, when I browse to my website, I get this error message, ironicly enough, it comes as a Coolite-messagebox: The web.config file for this project is missing the required AjaxRequestModule Example <system.web> <httpModules> <add name="AjaxRequestModule" type="Coolite

Re: Connect to SQL Server Management Studio Express
Thanks for the response Jian Kang, but I have already tried that =) Now, I've installed another instance of SQL Server, the default instance. I did the same thing there, add a login, and a user and so on. I've typed the public IP adress in the server name textbox, the login user ID and the password. This time, I get this error instead: TITLE: Connect to Server ------------------------------ Cannot connect to mssql-webbsite.com Failed to retrieve data for this request. (Microsoft.SqlServer

Re: Connect to SQL Server Management Studio Express
That still doesnt solve my problem. This is what I want to do: - To remotly connect to my SQL Server, typing in my server name (website.host.com), my Login and my Password. This is what I have done: - Reinstalled Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on a machine running Windows Server 2008. I've created an instance which I've named SQLSERVER. The machine name on which the server is running on is named WIN-U4ZXKTYCSE4. - I've created a database. - I've created a new Login, granted it certain
