• Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition

  I have installed the Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition and the ASP.NET Web administrator tool. When I follow the example in the help file to run the ASP.NET Web tool, I goto PROJECT, then ASP.NET Configuration. The program runs in the background and when I got to the website tool page it say I have an error. The error I receive is: An error was encountered. Please return to the previous page and try again. There is not previous page? Any one can help I would appreciate it. Thanks

  Ok I have install net frame 3.5, but also have the older versions still on the system. Keep in mind I am new to this. net frame ver 1.1, 2.0. I do not see the machine.config in version 3.5 at all? Plus there is no config sub director? I also only see these files: machine.config.comments, machine.config.default, or the machine.config XML file? So which one do I choose? Now I can't even get the ASP.NET Config tool to come up in the web broswer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks...
