I have fixed the problem now, using Session variables and adding this to the header: EnableSessionState="True" enableViewState="true"

Fixed it, I had this: Session["WizardStep"] = m_wizardStep.ToString(); Outside of the If(!Page.PostBack) {... } Does Ajax create a Page.PostBack or is it something different I have to check for?

I'm having the same problem, seems a bit complicated as you would expect these variable to holdthe value. What would the HTML look like?

Upgrading from 2003 -2008
I am upgrading my sites from Visual Studio 2003 to 2008. 1st I have uploaded all the usual files to the webserver and tried to view the site and it gives this error: Parser Error Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request.
