Re: Asp .Net : Detect browser closing/page change
Its right that user can use the application ther way, but sometimes its important to do such tasks where we are helpless.Anyways I am having the same problem, I just want to save the loggout time for the loggd in user, no matter by what means . There is no porblem when the user clicks the log out button but when the user tries to logg out by closing browser then I need to have some stuff there. I am not saying that I would ask user to go and click log out browser but can grab the event from cleicnt

Hi Figz, Did u ever get the feasible solution for this as I am running into the same issues though I am still to build a page consisting of 5-6 dropdowns which are dependent on other dropdowns selected values(I guess same was your situation), besides that I am in to the project build in 1.1 framework so unfortunately I cant even make use of ajax control, if you have any ideas please elovbarate here it would be of great help to me. Hello Thomas, Thanks for your reply.I did try adding the trust level but no lucks.I found some stuff on net which says you can not set this permissions if you are using shared hosting server.And also it is not recommendable my microsoft as you can see the link in above comments. Thanks

I have had that code already but as I said earliar I had to generate the excel in a specific format,and also i need to have multiple worksheets,which I am not sure can be done by the function you wrote.Thats why I had to deal with interop library.Thanks again for the reply.

That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers
I am having a web Application where I need to export some data to excel sheet.I have some methods that export the grid data to Excel but as I need to generate the Excellsheet in a specific format I had to use Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel library. Everything worked fine when I ran application on my local system.But when I Upload the applcaition on server.It raises error which goes.. "That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers". I found that It needs to deal with trust level
