Can two .ASCX controls communicate if they are on the Same Page?
Hello, I have 2 gridview, each one inside a different .ascx control but on the same .aspx page. When I delete a record from one gridview, the _ItemCommand is fired. I need the other gridview to refresh with the correct information. (basically parent child relation between the two grids) How can I get a reference to the gridview inside the .ascx control from the other gridview inside a different .ascx control? Thanks

GAC vs Bin on Web Application
I have published a web app to the production server. there is an assembly, telerik.web.ui, in the bin folder. In the Web Config there is a reference to this assembly under htpmodules. I have tried everything. The only thing that works is if I copy the assembly to the GAC and restart IIS, then it works. Why can't the application find the assembly in the Bin Folder? The original reference was to a folder that does not exist on the production machine. I fear that the Application takes a quick look

Re: adding httpmodule in web.config
If I understand correctly, the problem to the web part that stops working is that it is not ajax enabled. Adding the scriptmodule to the httpmodules is making available a scriptmanager control on the page. I looked at my colleague's source code yesterday and there is no reference to system.web.extensions in his code at all. He is not using AJAX controls at all. If I remove the scriptmodule from httpmodules my web part complains that it cannot find a scriptmanager on the page to attach the updatepanel

adding httpmodule in web.config
When I add this to the web.config file my ajax enabled web part works fine, but someone else's web part stops working. I did the <runtime> switch from 1.0.0.0-1.1.0.0 to 3.5.0.0 but that did not help. what could be the matter? What is that web part doing that is impacted by adding the scriptmodule? <system.web> <httpModules> <add name="ScriptModule" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptModule, System.Web.Extensions, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken

Re: What happened to the Clipboard
Yes, that would help. Although Cntl shift V helps, I would actually like to see the text fragments so I can choose which one I want.

What happened to the Clipboard
I seem to remember on vs 2003 and vs 2005 there was a clipboard. How can I get it back? Thanks
