deal with serial port in web application
hi, now i developed one windows application to deal with serial port. i cannot achieve the same in asp.net(web application).... my main project is web application only. so how can i move this point from windows to web application. shall i make user control(serial port module) and use it into the asp.net..... otherwise u have any suggestion to achieve in asp.net itself.

Thanks for your effective replies sir, S... this is real time application only. i want trigger the data_received event wherever data received from the clients. i connected GSM kit for all the system. If i will receive a data from GSM kit to system via Serial port. if data received from GSM kit mean i want to sleep the current process and start the new process and do some other works from some other pages

ok sir, i have connected my kit with my server via serial port. Asp webpage runs in a server only. i want receive or send data via serial port in server only. there is a SDK available for serial port communication. can i use it. is it safe for our project?

i am having 5 client systems and one server. all the system having wireless kit. all the clients sends the data to server via serial port. i want to collect and save the all the data in to server. Now i am using ASP.net and C#. but i need to get data from wireless kit via serial port in whole day. Is it possible to communicate. otherwise can i change the environment web application to windows...

how can i mingle two projects windows and web application
hi friends now i am working in asp.net and C#. developing a webpage application. one of the module in my project in windows application. and all other modules are in asp.net only.. how can i deal it? is it possible to make some component or anything else. but i need it in web application only

update a database to remote server from window application
i need update database from stand alone system to main server via internet. now i have a windows application. if client update button in windows application means the whole data base update to main server. the client and server connected in internet. now i need some guidance to update a database...
