Re: SSRS templat not showing up when creating new report
Hi, Please try to re-open the report designer after putting the report template into ReportProject folder. In addition, please make sure the location of ReportProject folder is right. For SSRS 2005: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\ProjectItems\ReportProject For SSRS 2008: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\ProjectItems\ReportProject For more information about "How To Create Templates in Reporting Services 2005"

Re: Report works in Debug but not regular
Hi, Are there any codes at the code-behind? I suggest creating a new webpage and using ReportViewer to show that report directly. If it still does not work, please screenshot the results of the running report here.

Hi,
I'm not sure if its possible to save a report as a pdf to a file location on the server from the code behind page?
We can use the following code to save a report as PDF programmatically. Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.ReportViewer rview = new Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.ReportViewer(); rview.ServerReport.ReportServerUrl = new Uri("http://localhost:8080/ReportServer"); rview.ServerReport.ReportPath = "/Adventure Works/Report1"; string

Re: change datasource from asp.net -
Hi, If the structures of that two datasources are the same, and the only difference is that they contain different records. I suggest using web service which was created from ASP.NET as the datasource for SSRS report, then we can change the records for the report. As for how to use web service as the datasource for SSRS, please refer to http://forums.asp.net/t/1479181.aspx Please feel free to let me know if I’ve misunderstood anything.
