hi again the code works for me too but adding it like you said in the script doesn't set the row numbers to Select1 value. <script language="javascript" src='http://www.sth/ads/?AdsID=1&row=document.getElementById('Select1').options[document.getElementById('Select1').selectedIndex].value&col=4' ></script> shouldn't add sth like Javascript Psuedo Protocol or sth?

change a variable in <script> according to a "Select"
hi imagine i have a simple Select in html format <select id="Select1"> <option>7</option> <option>8</option> </select> how can I pass that '8' to the script (instead of ???? part): <script language="javascript" src='http://www.sth/?AdsID=1&col= ???? &row=4></script> so insitead of passing a number like '4' to row i could pass a chosable variable to the col thank you

i register the script via Page.RegisterClientScriptBlock("MyScript", ""); but it doesn't go where i want to show it. the result will be shown at the top of the page. i want to have it right after the DropDown and for your ClientSide Solutions! if i knew how to pass it to the Script i didn't ask! sorry. will you provide me with the code?

c# code inside aspx page
hi all i have a javascript in my aspx page like this: <script language="javascript" src='<%# "http://www.sth/feed/?Ad=1&row=" + DropDownList1.SelectedValue.ToString() + "&col=4" %>' ></script> it wa row=2&col=4... but i want the row to be selected from a DroDownList. but the code above Doesn't work. how could i fix it? thank you

hi let's forget about DropDownList and the clientID part. my problem is how to import a value to that script now imagine i have a simple Select in html format <select id="Select1"> <option>4</option> <option>8</option> </select> how can I pass that '8' to the script (instead of ???? part): <script language="javascript" src='http://www.sth/?AdsID=1&col= ???? &row=4></script>

how to select the last page of datapage using c#
hi i have a datapager for my ListView. when the user add his comment it goes to the end of ListView . when it's in the first page the user can see his comment but if it is in the other pages, after postback it shows again the first page and the user can't see his comment at first how can i manage it with c# so that after insert the datapager goes to the last page available? thank you
