  I believe you can take advantage of QueryString when Passing data from one page to another. When you redirect to the other page, you can passthe USERID as string to the Url and get that information from there

• Sharepoint Newbie with sharepoint issues

  I am new to Sharepoint and wondering if it is used for version control, like Subversion and the likes. I just got me a hosting account and trying to figure out how to connect my VS 2008 directly to it, to access and edit and update files and media. Is this possible? If yes, how?? Thanks in Advance

  What I want is an idea on how to go about writing an application that allows users to upload pictures and then with the information collected on the picture( bytes and all) searches the internet to find links to sites and pages that have that same picture or a modification of it, on them.

  Is it possible to find retrieve all links online where an particular image is posted?? I am trying to work on a project that offers such a service and looking for advice on how to go about accomplishing this. Thanks in advance.
