iTextSharp - .doc to .pdf
Hello there, I understand iTextSharp can be used for converting a document to pdf. But first we have to create a document from scratch using iTextSharp.text.Document. Tools to manipulate doc files and convert to pdf
Hello there, I am looking for some good tools (free or paid, though free tool is always preferred) for doing following operations on word doc files: 1. Manipulation of doc/docx/text files (like replacing some placeholders with DB values) as well as 2. converts doc files to .pdf Because, I will be using this tool in my WCF service library, So I am looking for a code library and not for a GUI based product. Please share your experience regarding same. Thank you!

Re: Text files to pdf
Thank you friends for your reply. FYI, I will be using the converter tool in my WCF library to convert doc to pdf behind the scenes and then probably passing the resulted pdf to client application. Though I haven't gone through much details of suggested tools, PDFCreator and iTextSharp. yet, I feel iTextSharp will be a better option in my case. Any thoughts?

iTextSharp for .Net 3.5
Hello there, I want to use iTextSharp for converting docs to pdf in my WCF service library. But because iTextSharp is based on .Net 1.1 framework, I was wondering what possible issues I might face if I use iTextSharp in WCF service library (or with .net 3.5 framework). Thank you!
