  Hi. Is there a way to manage the behaviors associated with an element dynamically with javascript ? I tried to remove a behavior server side by setting the Enabled property of the maskededitextender to false but it was buggy. Thanks

  Hi Andrew, Thanks for helping. I'm using IIS 7 and I haven't changed anything with IE8. Actually I think I was getting the same pb with IE7. I am sure I am inputting the rights user/pass. I tried with and without the domain name. Also if it works in Firefox so I know those are correct. The reason I am get 401.1 status is because the asp.net app is configured to deny anonymous user.

  Thanks. I had already found this post. It basically propose to toggle the Enable Integrated Windows Authentication checkbox. But I did try that and it didn't do for me. I'm still stuck.

  Hi Asp.Net experts, I have this problem where I can't get authenticated on my locally running asp.net app when using IE8. Both browsers prompt me with a credentials input box but only firefox manages to get authenticated. IE8 fails and reads : HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. I tried to tweak IE8 security options but without success. Most notably I tried to toggle the Tools -> Internet Options

  That works well for insertion but how to handle update ? I did a test with DynamicData and the partial void InsertActivity(Activity instance) gets indeed called on insertion but not the partial void UpdateActivity(Activity instance). So how to validate that the unicity of a field on update ?

  I found the problem. The div enclosing the calendar had a css line-height : 15. Removing it fixed the pb.

• Calendar extender control in IE6 does not show all weeks

  Dear experts, I have a problem with the calendar extender control. I have a rather big page with several calender extender controls. Those show normally in IE7 and FF but there is some extra padding on each day cells in IE6 which cause the last 2 weeks of the month to be hidden. The following image shows how it renders in IE6 (left) and IE7/FF (right). I tried the calendar sample in IE6 and it does display correctly. I assume it is something wrong with my page. I have tried to set the cell padding
