    some of the post i have read : --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- I've made the same changes, but first I've created a user with "administrative power" like this: <domain>\<username> Then I changed the "authentication mode" to windows and could enter with no problems. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    well i read alot about ADmembership provider , but im still confused about if that will only alow u to login into the Time tracker ? what about the user that should create projects .. added to projects ? will that maintined though code later ? or automatically by AD MSprovider ?

    I have tested the active directory login for the doman user but when AD user login what is the benfits to create user if all users already exist in AD ? another thing is will the ActiveDirectory mebmership provider will stor the AD user to show them when needed to add in any created project ? or its just for purpous of login and an internal user must be created ... im confusied !!

    HI chetan after all transfered the project under wwwroot and the wat tool worked ok for me after all when i start the application i got this error Login failed for user 'OIMDOKITAN01\ASPNET'.     well , I use sql server 2005 , i didn t add any custom membership Providers at all im simply downlaod the site and installed it then try to add new user and roles but useless the WAT dosnt work to me ! -My app_data folder only contianes the TimeTracker.mdf/LDF files and copy TimeTracker.mdf DB as bauckup. thats all
