Re: Created site in VWD, then tried opening in FrontPage 2003... errors!
I figured as much. The project I am working on requires uploading content to the server either through FrontPage 2003, or Visual InterDev. I was just wondering why I couldn't open my work in FrontPage as well... but I now understand what you mean. I'll try to upload through VWD.

DetailsView column width does not fit header text on one line
Hello, I have a DetailsView, and when it is shown, all of the header text does not fit on one line. I've tried figuring out a way to set the width of the header text column so that all headers will appear on one line. For instance, it looks like this when displayed: Name: Bob Address: 2222 Hunning Dr. State: PA Relationship to Cousin individual: So, for instance, the "Relationship to individual" header does not fit in the cell, and thus runs onto two lines. How can I set the width of

Re: Failed to map the path of my database file
Also, why can't you use App_Data? Is this some kind of school/college project where you are told what you must do?
It's for a voluntary project i'm doing at work. So, they have specific requirements with their dynamic content (ASP.net, C#, etc.) So... the folder structure is as follows: \\MainShare\MyShare\ Within MyShare, there are 3 folders to use: MDB, webroot, and Temp. I have to place my .aspx files in the webroot, and my db file in

Custom format of DetailsView
Hello, I have a details view, and whenever I try to change the Header Text format, it also changes the Databound value's format as well. I want the Header text to be blue, and the databound text to be red. Is there a simple way to do this? I find it very un-user-friendly that asp.net makes this difficult... Here is some code: 1 < asp:DetailsView ID= "DetailsView2" runat= "server" AutoGenerateRows= "False" GridLines= "None" 2 DataKeyNames= "Site_Name"

Re: Failed to map the path of my database file
Use the App_Data folder for your database. Also, avoid using the AccessDataSource control:
I cannot use the App_Data folder for my database. I'm required to use the MDB folder as stated above. Also, I do not know what you mean to avoid using the AccessDataSource control? Your article states that it works for .mdb files only... but that's what i'm using anyway. Why isn't ../MDB/site.mdb not working to locate my db file? When I do move

Failed to map the path of my database file
Hello. I think this should be a fairly easy question, but I am having problems. I am using Visual Web Developer 2008, ASP.NET 2.0 and C#. I have two main folders: WebSite1, and MDB. I store my .aspx files in the WebSite1 folder, and my MS Access database in the MDB folder. Now, for my AccessDataSources, I have: 1 < asp:AccessDataSource ID= "AccessDataSource1" runat= "server" 2 DataFile= "../MDB/site.mdb" SelectCommand= "SELECT RegionID, RegionName 3 FROM tblRegion

Re: Toggle DIV visibility with a button
I tried drocco's method above (I want to try this method before the ajax method). Drocco, is this in C#? I'm not sure what the problem is, but I get the following error: Compiler Error Message: CS1012: Too many characters in character literal Source Error: Line 126: function div1hide() Line 127: { Line 128: document.getElementById("details").style.display = 'none'; Line 129: } Line 130: My DIV I want to show and hide has an ID of "details". Here is some code..
