• Web Application Project Not Working As It Used To

  I'm using a remote IIS server to develop on. On the server I have a web app project (not a website project). In VS05 I could open the project, run and debug fine. When I try the same thing with VS08, it won't let me set the IIS address as the remote server - it says the local server is not configured for that app (I know that you stupid program. That's why I entered a remote server address, not localhost!) Anyone know how to fix this, or should I just continue using VS05? Simon

  I keep trying to use VS08, but it keeps doing it's best to stop me. Most of the time I find myself back in VS05 - it's quicker & doesn't have the new bugs introduced in VS08. I cannot for the life of me get my web apps working properly in VS08. They worked in 03, 05 but not 08 apparantly. Thanks for that.
