Re: Loading an HTML page in order to store it in member variable
Thanks. What I intend is to store the HTML content of a child page in a javascript variable, so that I can clone it. That is, I would use the window.Open() method with a valid URL to download the original child page first; then somehow I would store this page's HTML in a string variable client-side. Next time I want a child page, I would use the window.Open() method without an URL and then use the document.write() method to create a clone of the first page. In other words, I want to use the original

Loading an HTML page in order to store it in member variable
Hello I want to show a popwindow when the user double-clicks rows in a grid. This new window is very complex, so I intend to download it the first time but use the document.write() method for the following cases. Is it possible to store the HTML code of a page in a variable so I can reuse it? Thanks a lot.

Persisting a typed-dataset member variable
Hello I have a member variable which is an instance of a typed-dataset. When the page loads, I fill the dataset and then I bound it to several combos. Do I have to persist in anyway this variable in order to use it later on? Thanks a lot.

ObjectDataSource and Hierarchical DataSets
Hello I have a typed dataset that has two tables (each one with a TableAdapter) and the tables have a relationship. Then I configured an ObjectDataSource pointing to the parent DataTable's TableAdapter. I wonder if somehow this hierarchical relationship is exposed by the ObjectDataSource. Or the ODS works only with flat data? Thanks a lot.

Using a Typed DataSet within a web application
Hello I would like to know if I can somehow create an instance of a Typed DataSet in a webform at design time, so that I can data bind a grid to it. If not, what should I do in order to data bind a grid to read only two-level hierarchical data? (that data comes from an stored procedure that returns two resultsets) Thanks a lot.

Re: Newbie question: How to make a subform a passing values to the parent form
That's because I have not decided yet. It is my first web project and I don't know all the possibilities related to web technologies. I would appreciate if you recomend the best way to create the subform: AjaxToolkit or JavaScript. By the way, I must describe better the subform: It would have controls that would take the user input - datepickers and databound combos among them. As I said before, the purpose of the subform is to collect stored procedure parameter values. Thanks a lot.

Newbie question: How to make a subform a passing values to the parent form
Hello I have a webform with a grid and 2 buttons. When pressing the first button, I would like to display a small modal form were filter criteria can be entered (stored procedure parameter values). After this modal is closed, and when the second button is pressed, I would like to load the grid with data -sending the values to the stored procedure. That is, the grid is bound to a dataset and the dataset is loaded using a stored procedure. I would appreciate any help in order to fullfil this scenario
