Re: Visual Web Developer Design View Still Slow!!!!!! Hotfix KB946581 Does Nothing! HELLLPPPPPP!!!!!!
@Sgro Your a good example of thinking your way is the only way and if anybody begs to differ than they must automatically be stupid because "its not what you do". If the world thought like that it would be an incredibly boring place. Not everybody thinks the same way and not everybody will solve the same problem the same way. So the design interface is not for you thats fine but dont assume because it works for you it automatically works for everyone because it doesn't. I use a combination

Re: About layout menu bar...
After initially giving up on VS2008 for web development I thought I would try it after SP1 Beta was applied. At this stage the web design side of it is not usable. Re: How to select multiple controls in VS 2008
It is one of the many "little things" (eg the properties windows taking up to 45 seconds to repopulate - VS2005 on same PC is basically instant) that has made me revert back to VS 2005/dreamweaver CS3 for all web projects. At this stage the web design side of VS2008 is still too half baked for me to use in production projects it actually takes longer to do work in the web side of VS2008. It is an absolute joke that this was included in a RTM product and if this is from expression designer

Re: Whats wrong with VS 2008?
Agree. I have actually gone back to VS2005(luckily the project was started with framework 2) to do web design work as it takes 2x as long in VS2008.
