  Maybe I should try VWD2005? Is it still available for download? One reason I want to edit files on the server is because at times there is another person who helps with the web page (non-profit organization). Otherwise we would have to download the page, work on and then upload.

• Visual Web Developer Express 2008 Freezes in Design View

  When I connect to my web site it comes up find in Source View. However when I switch to Design view, the text comes up but images take forever to render and actually I have never waited longer than 5 minutes to see if they ever do. At this point Web Developer is basically locked up. It won't let me cancel or close. I have to click CTRL+ALT+DEL to close the program. I have downloaded and installed the Performance Hot Fix KB946581 and this did not help any. I have a fast internet connection and

  I am not sure how changing settings in IE can cause Visual Web Developer Express 2008 to remember a password, but I checked IE anyway and these settings were already correct. So that's not the answer to my problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Jim

• Remember Login ID and Password

  I am just starting to use Visual Web Developer 2008 Express. I like it but one immediate problem I have is that it does not seem to remember the Login ID and Password for my web sites. I manage several web sites and they all have unique login IDs and Passwords. I don't see any option for Web Developer to remember these so I don't have to manually type them in each time I log into the site. Is there a way for Web Developer to do this? Thanks, Jim
