Re: Login control is suddenly broken in IE7 but works perfectly on Firefox (It works on both browsers locally)
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools-->Internet Options-->Privacy-->Tick OVERRIDE AUTOMATIC COOKIE HANDLING-->Accept or Prompt First-party Cookies, Accept or Prompt Third-party Cookies. You may need to configure/switch off ZoneAlarm too

Re: Login control is suddenly broken in IE7 but works perfectly on Firefox (It works on both browsers locally)

Re: PrincipalPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Authenticated=true) seems to want something more than the authentication cookie returned by Login function
Guess i gotta make my posts shorter and more to the point .... Can't say i've been flooded with replies ... Can anyone help me out with httpModules and hierarchial web.config files ? Can i give a different set of modules for web root and a different set of modules for subdirectories ? And how exactly are querystrings formed in the client side --- most of the examples of handlers and modules i've seen check for query string in the URL and respond to them.

Re: PrincipalPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Authenticated=true) seems to want something more than the authentication cookie returned by Login function

You therefore need to actually create a principal from the authentication cookie from the request....... and set it as current principal to the thread executing the method so what i immediately did was (this did not work) : 1. In the global.asax file i inserted a new function Authenticate_Request which took the authentication

PrincipalPermission(SecurityAction.Demand, Authenticated=true) seems to want something more than the authentication cookie returned by Login function

(Becoz .net 2.0 is less load on client systems and occupies lesser space) ALL PROXY CLASSES HAVE BEEN GENERATED BY WSDL.EXE. I'll mail to anyone wanting the code for the two projects just ask me at zasz@aveoinfotech.com . Appreciate any help or example code for this situation send to me via above address,Thanks in advance I exposed 4 services AuthenticationService RoleService & ProfileService & MyService.
