  Bruce, first off thanks so much for your reply. And please try to bare with me as this is my first database set up. I have been in contact the discountasp.net and they sent me a link to http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10417 Which just says: You will have to upsize your SQL Express Database to a SQL 2000 or SQL 2005 database and change the web.config file connection string to point the SQL server.   also, i uploaded 2 .mdf files to the server. but my connection string only adds 1 name. do i need to add the other one? i didnt think i would since it worked on my local server

  how do i check class ClassifiedsHttpApplication to see if the _siteurl is bein set correctly? i am brand new to this, but not web design. if you dont mind, try talking to me like im a 3rd grader.
