Re: Unable to read data from the transport connection: net_io_connectionclosed
I am also getting this problem but randomnly and I cannot figure out what is going on. The IP address of the mail server is fixed. The machine running the web application does not have SMTP installed. The email addresses are valid and the email server is setup to allow the relay to take place. Any other possibilities I am not looking at?

Re: httphandler for resizing images, need some help with jpeg2000
Image magick isn't much help, at least to me. I've used that set of libraries quite a bit in C++ apps I make but I didn't know about free image, that works perfectly for what I need. Thanks for the links, I hadn't run into those commercial products just yet.

Re: Retreive anchor value
Yes, it will return those but for all its worth those could be parsed out more efficiently with the request.querystring["urlVar"] seperately.

Re: Retreive anchor value
the request.rawurl could be split using # as the char to split the array, then you would have array[0] being everything before the # and array[1] being everything after the #. So in theory you could just check the length of the array, if its length is 1 you know there is no anchor tag.

httphandler for resizing images, need some help with jpeg2000
in short I am trying to write a handler to take jp2 files and resize them into jpg files. This is for an image library where right now we have the jpeg2000 image and then 5 jpg images of the same image in different sizes. This arrangement is mostly due to a vendor product used to process the images but I am in a position where I can make some radical changes. What I ideally want is to just store the jp2 images and then on demand create the smaller derivatives. The problem I have is figuring out how
