Where do I go from here?
So, I bought a C# book and in the process of reading over most of the book for the second time. I understand the concepts, syntax and have done the tutorials that came with the book. I am also reading this ASP.NET book and want to get started on creating some nice looking web pages that utilize AJAX, Silverlight, Java and most important the .Net framework but I cannot seem to find a good tutorial on .NET framework and ASP.NET? any suggestions?

Web services and Facebook app
Hello, Does anyone have a site that teaches hw to build web services? I am also looking to run a little app to run on facebook that will automatically update certain items. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: VWD 2008
How would I go about chaning the location of a label control using CSS? I found the way. Funny enough, CSS only does for me what I was doing manually, when it comes to laying out labels and what not. It is a little faster then the way I was doing it before but it is still not as fast as in 2005. Thanks.

Re: VWD 2008
That is exactly what I needed to hear. I am a beginer so anything that I can learn to make my web pages look better and conform to universal standards is what I would like to do. I have also spoken with a friend that works as web developer and he mentioned the CSS is a better formatting tool because it works well with different web browsers. Thanks for the kind words.

VWD 2008
I'm sure there are a ton of benifits that VWD 2008 offers over VWD 2005 that I am just not using at the momemt, but something as simple as laying out a page has taken me 10X the amount of time that it use to take using 2005. As much as I like typing code I rather see results then spend my time typing in formatting code (really good if you want to learn all about the div, sytle etc...). Before I give up on 2008 I was wondering could someone show me the light? Show me a simple way to format a web

Re: How do I select multiple controls in VWD 2008
I'm just learning this asp.net and downloaded the VWD 2008, before I use to use 2005, and notice the same thing with the asp:label and was wondering how does one go about doing the work arounds you mentioned?
