Re: Get error when trying to setup ASP.NET security
So, it looks like you already have a connection string present in the connectionstring settings. So, you don't have to add one more to the same database. Can you paste the existing connection string over here, so that we can see if there is anything wrong in there.

Re: How and from where: Domain Name + Hosting
There are many hosting solutions which you can look for on the net. I have recently(week back) recommended Arvixe.com to one my clients. It looks good so far. May be you can give it a try.

Re: To make a Forum in ASP.NET and using ASPNETDB as the database for user control
Check out the starterkits section in this site. They have a forum starter kit with full source code. You can take ideas from that. Here is the link to the starterkits http://www.asp.net/community/projects/

Re: Inserting Multiple Records in SQL
I think you will have to send one record data at a time. Or else, you can create a xml document with all the records of data and send the xml document to the sql stored procedure and then, in the stored proc, you can read the needed information from the xml document and process the table updates.

Re: Domain name for Windows VPS hosting
I think, all you have to do is to add the required Host Records to point the domain to your VPS IP and then configure the requried host headers in your IIS.

Re: Database Backup Automatically
You can achieve that directly using the SQL Sever database maintenance plans. You don't have to write seperate application to that task. Just create a maintenance plan to do the backups for you.

Re: Trying to avoid full postbacks
Why don't you try using the TextEditor control that comes with the Ajax control toolkit. It should be compatible with partial postbacks.

Re: SQL 2000 Access problem..
It looks like you are trying to connect to a SQL Sever from a different machine, but the SQL Server is not configured to accept connections from other machines. It can work only with application running on the same machine as the SQL Server. You will have to open up the configuration manger for the SQL Server and enable remote connections for the Server instance.
