• page.IsValid Property is read only

  Hi! how's everything going up hear! people as you already noticed I have an issue with the page.IsValid property. I want to set it true or false manueally. I had to do the validation my self so any idea on how i would be able to modify it!

  thx so much four help, it was my bad, I trying to put ajax on already made project. All I had to do was take the web.config from an Ajax-Enabled website, add my assemblies and it worked! thx!

  where you register the assembly change the tagprefix from asp to ajax like this: <%@ Register Assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" Namespace="System.Web.UI" TagPrefix="ajax" %> that must work

  I'm sorry, this did not work. I just tried and the whole thing did post back. now, it seems that the contentplaceholder is the problem. I'm i supposed to use any special pattern to solve this?

  Hi, thx for your answer. I registered the Ajax extensions on the master page. And I don't know why I had to register the extensions on the child webforms. why is that? <%@ Register Assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" Namespace="System.Web.UI" TagPrefix="ajax" %> I also added the Scriptmanager to the masterpage, I put it right after the server side form tag, < form id= "MainForm"
