• Treeview doesn't postback on CheckedChange

  Am I an idiot?! Everywhere I look I seem to only see solutions to REMOVE postback from my treeview control. DAMN! I wish my control had postback! No matter what I do it doesn't seem to want to postback. I have to click on the actual node text for it to post back, I suppose that's what ppl are referring to. I need it to post back when I select a Checkbox of a node. So that I can then select/deselect all the childnodes. Selecting/deselecting the ChildNodes aren't the issue. The issue is

  According to the following post: http://www.megasolutions.net/AspNet/BC2017-error-66097.aspx It worked for me. This is the post: acc. to KB897299, the workaround is "to register the DLL in the global assembly cache by using the following command": gacutil -i DriveLetter:\YourPath\YourAssemblyName.dll and you should try to execute gacutil -i C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework \v2.0.50727\System.EnterpriseServices.dll where the System.EnterpriseServices DLL is located.   So, after fighting this error for hours and hours, trying to get my AJAXToolkit Drag & Drop working, the problem turned out to be a solution wide reference problem. I removed all project references from the solution (actually remove them from the solution by Right Clicking the Project in Solution Explorer > Remove), then added them back one by one. Recompiled, and the problem seemed to go away.
