Re: not a valid IIS application - Solution
Hi, you are correct, There is one more solution to this problem. Step:1 Go to the Project, Right click and select the properties of that project. It'll take it into the project properties. Step:2 Select the last tab called "Web" in that, you can see the two options under the server section. Select the second option called Use IIS Web Server. There u could see the wrong URL which is pointed out currently. That is the cause for this issue. Now you change the Project URL path which correct

Re: Send email in ASP.NET 2.0 using smtp client - unable to deliver to outside domains.
Hi, Yes you need to give the web server IP address over there, which is allowing you to send and receive the mail or internet access. Some proxy setting will be there once you inform to your admin, he will take care of it. After that test your apps, hope it'll start work by sending mail smoothly

Re: How to integrate the window services into the ASP.NET application?
Hi Your reply is cent precent correct, I worte the method to send the mail too, But i need to understand one thing, How the Window service will interact with the web application and how will get the input as (from, to , subject and body of the mail) from the web application. Do we need to call the window service anywhere in our application? Sample would be good for better under standing. Please provide me any sample if you have.

Re: How to integrate the window services into the ASP.NET application?
Hi , I'll have my code to send the mail by getting the input from the asp.net. It's like the alert/Reminder concept. Every time i cannot go and send the mail to all user. instead of doing if i have the Window Service, through that, i'll do my job better.

Re: Send email in ASP.NET 2.0 using smtp client - unable to deliver to outside domains.
Hi, Check with your network people to know about the Internet Domain IP address/Host. Just give the Internet IP address overthere, and that will do the rest of the thing like what you are expecting. Email also will go the other domain.

Re: Questions about using Excel interop
Hi Eric, It's not a dot net managed one. If you upgrade the Excel 2003 to 2007, the code whice you wrote, that will work. you have explicitly release the com object. otherwise that will make the problem to slowdown process and reduce the performance too. server(your system) must have the upgrade excel that could be the better one. client is need not to install. http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1040614&SiteID=1 http://www.aspnetpro.com/NewsletterArticle/2003/09/asp200309so_l
