Re: Where is "PropertyPages" in WSP website?
What you're actually seeing in the title is: c:\MyWebsites2010\MyWebsite\ PropertyPages (note the space); i.e. it's the property pages for C:\MyWebsites2010\MyWebsite. Web site project settings are stored in your solution file since there isn't a project file to keep them in. For instance, it might look someting like this: Project("{E24C65DC-7377-472B-9ABA-BC803B73C61A}") = "SampleSilverlight.Web", "SampleSilverlight.Web", "{6ACDD8ED-DD7C-42F2-864C-F5B08AD9D492

Re: Installing VS 2010 Professional installs X86 version on my 64-bit system
This is normal - VS is only available as a 32-bit application (which builds 64-bit apps; weird, I know).

Re: Mutli Target Version - how does it handle a 4.0 application downgraded to target 2.0?

But I was referring more specifically to changes in any existing code when you change the target framework for an existing project/web site. Re: Can't run ASP.NET MVC 2 WAP under internal development server either
You can't set a startup page for MVC projects. Going to any URL ending in .aspx is invalid because you're using ASP.NET Routing. Go to your project properties, and set the start page to "Specific Page" with an empty value. You'll always get the home page when you F5. If you want a different page, use the routing URL, e.g. /Products/View/1
And while creating New Web Site there is no template for any MVC at all
MVC requires that the web

Re: Mutli Target Version - how does it handle a 4.0 application downgraded to target 2.0?
Multi-targeting basically causes your project to use a different set of build tasks and .targets files, as well as reference assemblies that you're building against. It doesn't change any of your code. If you do have .NET 4 code in a lower framework project, you'll simply get a build error. So to answer your question: yes, you can go from 4.0 to a lower framework version, you'll just have to make some adjustments to any .NET 4 specific code.

Re: VS 2010: view Design
Did you by chance choose the Code Optimized settings? It disables the HTML designer by default. You can re-enable it under Tools -> Options -> HTML Designer (there should be a checkbox under there).

Re: how to configure file types associations to be context-sensitive?
Thanks for noticing this! We've filed a bug for this issue - hopefully it will make the bar, but it's hard to tell this late in the cycle.

Re: Visual Web Developer Express 2010 (B2) - Delete All Breakpoints
VWD Express defaults to Basic settings (you don't get prompted) so that's probably why you don't remember setting it . That said, we've hidden or moved a lot of options in the Basic profile based on the assumption that a basic user doesn't need them (and hence shouldn't be distracted by having them); if you need them, you can switch to the Expert profile or the Code profile.

Re: Error trying to reference an assembly
Presumably this is a Silverlight application? Is there anything special about the location you're referencing the assembly from? Mapped network drive, different drive than the project is in, etc? As a workaround, you can disable the ValidateXaml task for your Silverlight app by editing the project file and changing the value of the <ValidateXaml> element to false.
