  Hi, Thanks for that. The thing is that most companies wont have an email address to send to in the first place. Also we would still have the issue of identifying the client's organisation. We have already created our own membership system with reset pasword and everything user, tutor and admin levels, but just need feedback on best way to identify a company without it being a drop down list of company names (My director doesn't want to show a list of companies as competitors could target

  Hi all, I'm brainstorming ideas on how to identify an organisation so the employee/learner can login and be authenticated against their database. Background: We develop assessment software for colleges, schools, training providers and other institutions. Our online platform is going to have a database for every organisation, so each company's learners are held within its own database.   Hi, Yes the login exists as i can login to ServerB,9050 with the username and pooassword that i'm specifying in the linked server credentials. It still wouldn't explain getting network dead compared to the first login failiure when not specifying credentials. Regards Liam

  Hi, I've spent 5 hours on a clients server trying to get this linked server to work MSSQL Express to MSSQL standard both 2005. ServerA (SQL Express 2005) ServerB (SQL Standard 2005) (running on port 9050) (can connect and authenticate fine from SQL Management Studio) First of all I create a link by right clicking "Linked Servers" on ServerA and clicking to create a new linked server.   Hi, I don't do WCF but i've come across this error before as i program windows applications that use Shockwave Activex controls referenced as COM and this error happens when the reference COM doesn't exist in the location referenced (EVEN when in the bin folder). So in your case i would look at checking that the users you authenticate as have read access to the dll on the server, or even more importantly that the dll exists. Regards Liam

  Hi Rajesh, That's what Stefan advised and didn't work. Note: It doesnt change image but it slowley goes from white loading image from top to bottom rather than instantly replacing as per firefox. Liam
