  • Re: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'.

Hi, One doubt with this! If the configuration is hardcoded with username and password of one user, how will other users be able to authenticate through those credentials?? Thanks,

  • Re: ASP .NET for IIS 6.0, security configuration

I have got an NT security pluggin (and have no AD security pluggins). Also quite stangely it looks like NT single sign-on is working some times, but at other times I am getting the above error. This behaviour is noticed randomly. In a theoratical sense I feel I may have missed out some "trust" configurations for this domain (this domain is a user domain), but I am not sure what it is, and how go about fixing it. Does anyone have any clue?

The error generated by "w3wp.exe" is essentially this: NT Authentication failed to get the NT groups for the account with ID "<MY_DOMAIN>\<MY_USERID>". Please make sure this account is valid and belongs to an accessible domain. Any clues? Thanks.
