Passing Large dataset through WCF service
Hi frieds, I have created WCF service application from where I am returning a dataset having more than 50000 rows and 25 columns. When I request the data from the WCf service it requires about 5000 ms to get the dataset. The time required for to create dataset in service is less than 400 ms. about 4600 ms required to transfer data across WCF service boundry to client application. I am using NetTcpBinding for the WCf service. Anyone has any idea how can I improve the performance of WCF service? Thanks

Re: The namespace 'Resources' already contains a definition for
Hi, I got the reason of this error mesage. I am using the wrong culture name for file. Just check the culture name you are using is present or not. eg. CommonMessages.fe-ex. the Fr-ex is not valid culture so the above given errors occured while building the application. you can check the supported Culture s from IE-Browser. Hi Karenros, Write now my report displays items in one row only. Single page contains only 30 records. So i want if records exceed 30 then 30-60 must display in the same page as shown above. the records from 60- next are displayed on next page, I have tried with Matrix but enable to do this. Thanks, Satish

Re: List repeating horizontally
Hi michael. we can use Matrix.. but you should do it in the report header row... am also facing one more problem with this type of report.. when repeating in the horizontal direction if our report contains data of 3 pages it adds extra 3 blank pages data.. i think it's because of the we can not hide the data row of matrix.. i am facing serious issue with this problem.. If you have any solution please reply me.. Thanks, Satish

Re: Problem in exporting report from report viewer toolbar
Check that you have closed the exported report which is exported first time. as the report is stored temporary in the memory and and someone may using it (Reportviewer) so at the second time it refuses to open it...
