  Thanks for your quick response but i am looking for web application which have functionality like windows desktop search (searching files in directories and even searching text inside the files and to stop the search) Is there any way out to do this in web application? Hope u understood what i am trying to achieve.

  Helllo everyone!! I need to build application similar to windows desktop search in vb.net. Need to search text in file name and even inside the content of the file. I have done most of the part like listing directories and files but the major problem is searching the text inside the content of the files and another major problem is stop the search. Any type of help is highly appreciated. Thank you

  Hi Prashat, I really dont know abt the .text but if u want to have blogging platform in asp.net 2.0 with c# i would suggest u to go for BlogEngine.net. Blog Engine.net is free and opensource and even its easy to integrate in existing web site and easy to customize. I started with BlogEngine 1.0 now i have upgraded easily into newer version.   Actually i have done bit research on this and found lots of solution in web but still none of them solved my problem.   I m having the same problem. I have asp.net website hosted in server and tiny_mce editor is not working. I did my possible attempt to solve that problem, finally i found that server is not displaying any html pages. Can some one please help me how to map .htm,.html pages in IIS server.   First of all i would like to thanx u for ur quick response. I have already spend so many hours in BlogEngine.net and i have even posted question in that forum u suggested. I don't have much time to spend on dasblog, So before exploring dasblog i would like to know that is this dasblog support way i want? I mean i want recents blogs summary to be displayed in my home page and in each dealer's blog in each dealer page. Thanx in advance. Chetana
