• Gridview on a panel... How do I set the panel height

  So I have a gridview on my page inside a panel which is bound to a datasource. The size of this gridview can vary widely (might have 1 row, might have 10 rows (the max per page)). If I size my panel to fit 10 rows, but only have 1 row, there is a blank big gap below the gridview. How can I have my panel smart enough to know its proper size?

• Generating resource file for databound dropdown list

  Hi, I have read a lot about localization based on generating local resource files for web pages. This allows me to have a French and English version of my page. However, I have databound dropdown lists on my page which have: SelectedIndex = 1,2,3,4 (primary key from a database table called COUNTRY) SelectedValue = "Canada, US, etc..." (column from the same table) Is my only solution to "detect" (before control binding) which language is being used and then modify the calls to

• Gridview displayed on ModalPopup. Selecting and Paging both causing popup to dissapear.

  I have a gridview being displayed on a modalpopup panel. It is displaying fine, except that when either I "select" a row for display on an accompanying formview, or I choose to visit the next Page of results, the panel disappears. Any tips would be appreciated.
