  It should be a custom trace, and it actually put all trace information together, including web events, objects, data access and etc. What I think is that you can seperate your requirements into several parts. And ASP.NET or other tools supports these trace feature. e.g web events and objects -> ASP.Net trace. data access such as store procedure -> SQLSerer Profiler.   That is a problem which has not be resolved (At least, the same scenario appeared in ms connect site). And now, what we can do is just to avoid putting reportviewer control in the content page.

  It should be the databound custom server control, you need to assign the datasource to that control, and populate for the result in the CreateChildControl event. But, the result can't be displayed in the design time, since the change of value in properties windows can't trigger the data populating event. if you want to get the value in design time, you need to add a control builder something like the GridView and you also need to design the connection linking wizard.
